Review of Jetkids by Stokke® Bedbox
Introduction
Nothing can compare to a memorable family vacation for creating lifelong memories.
Sadly, travelling can be a very stressful experience for young families. Adults' tolerance may be put to the test by the lengthy security and customs queue waits, but kids may become downright cranky!
Therefore, Stokke created the JetKids Travel BedBox, a multipurpose luggage especially for kids, to make travelling exciting for your little one.
There are many ways to use this sturdy, hardshell case to keep kids comfortable on ferries, trains, and aeroplanes. Additionally, it greatly simplifies life for parents who are travelling with children.
Basic Information
• Weight: 7.2 lbs (6.2 kg)
• Dimensions: 18.11" x 7.87" x 14.17"
• 20 L (5.3 gallons) in size
• Suitable Age: a bed feature 2+ years / feature of a ride-on suitcase 3-7 years
Features | Introduction |
Suitcase | Children may easily pull this wheeled suitcase by themselves. Some parents prefer that their kids take a rucksack when they travel, but monkey see, monkey do! Many kids would prefer to go on their own like their parents do. The BedBox, however, comes with a hook to hang a pack on if desired—it's the best of all worlds and a wonderful touch! |
Ride-Along | The luggage can be used by kids as a horse. Yes, parents are permitted to pull the baggage while their kids are perched on top of it! You'll appreciate this feature when your arms are already full and their little feet tyre or they can't keep up with the hectic speed of travel. |
Bedtime | When a little one is seated, the lid flips upside down to serve as a footrest. Additionally extensible, this footrest can grow with your child. The mattress also extends across the footrest and seat to accommodate children's naps. |
First-Class Naps
Even though you aren't flying first class, your kid can still take naps like one!
The BedBox is a perfect fit under the seat during takeoff and landing on aeroplanes. It can then be placed in front of the seat once you've attained cruise altitude.
You'll now turn the lid upside-down and remove the mattress. Your child may put their feet up and unwind because it completely covers the seat and footrest. They can even tuck themselves into a tiny ball and take a nap while still fastened.
The mattress itself features elastic bands to secure it over the footrest and anti-slip strips on the underside to keep everything in place. To shield your youngster from the stiff plastic of the seat's armrests, there are side flaps included.
Awesome Storage
The 20 litre BedBox may appear modest, but it can carry a lot of items.
Everything you need to travel easily, including packing cubes, extra clothing, blankets, jackets, toys, diapers, wipes, creams, and lotions.
The lid, which may be used as a footrest and access when turned upside down, also has additional storage. Many parents keep the necessities they need nearby (such as food) so they don't have to rummage through their bags to find everything.
Easy Rider
The front wheels of the suitcase can turn 360 degrees and are shock-absorbing, ensuring a smooth trip for your child. They have something to grip on to thanks to grab handles and footholds on either side.
You will pull the BedBox by a long strap that connects to the front of the bag. When necessary, you may also wear the luggage on your shoulder (like a messenger bag) by attaching the strap to a hook on the back.
