Shipping, Delivery & Risk Transfer Policy

Before we ship your order, we make sure each item is in perfect condition. We carefully pack everything with extra care to protect it as best as we can. Your satisfaction means a lot to us, and we do our best to make sure your package arrives safely and beautifully.
2. Free Shipping in Canada
Always enjoy free shipping on eligible orders of $99 and over in Canada, after discounts and before taxes. Orders that qualify for Free Shipping will be sent via Canada Post, Canpar, FedEx Ground, and FedEx Express, etc. Baby Square was started from dedicated our efficient and quality service to each customer, for this reason, we chose FedEx as our shipping partner.
All in-stock items are shipped within 1-3 business days. If there are any issues with your order availability or shipping delay, a Baby Square customer service representative will contact you by phone or via email within 48 hours after the order is placed. Once your purchase has been shipped you will be e-mailed a tracking number to check the status of your order. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
*Some over-size products may charge an extra shipping fee. The accuracy rate and charge will depend on Fedex.
3. Free Shipping in US
Always enjoy free shipping on eligible orders of $299 and over in US, after discounts and before taxes. Shipping fees are determined by the locations of our shipping partners. If your location falls outside of their designated areas, there may be additional shipping costs that were not factored into your original order. This policy is applicable to orders that qualified for Free Shipping as well as those that did not meet the free shipping threshold.
While we strive to identify a shipping rate that aligns with the estimated parameters, certain items such as oversized products cannot be automatically calculated by the system and will require manual calculation by our online team. We regret any inconvenience this may cause and assure you that we will promptly reach out to you with available shipping alternatives.
If you have any doubts regarding whether this product is eligible for free shipping within the US, kindly contact our team at info@babysquare.ca. Please provide us with your shipping address and the specific items you wish to purchase. Our team will gladly assist you in determining if your desired items qualify for US shipping.
4. US-Bound Shipment Information
Shipments destined for the United States do not cover brokerage fees or any duty or customs charges associated with international shipping. Shipments exceeding a specific value may attract the attention of local Customs office, which is beyond our jurisdiction. The recipient bears full responsibility for any charges incurred as a result.
5. What Are Your Delivery Times?
In most case, orders are delivered the next business day between 10AM to 5PM when you order by 8:00PM, Monday through Friday. Orders Placed after 10:00 AM on Friday and Weekend will be shipped the following Monday.
The shipping system will send the tracking information by email automatically after the order has been shipped. Please see below for the estimated delivery time by Major Province. For the most up-to-date delivery estimate, please refer to the delivery information in the shipping confirmation email.

6. Delivery Completion & Transfer of Risk Policy
BabySquare actively monitors all shipments during transit and will assist with any carrier-verified loss or damage occurring before delivery. Once the carrier has recorded the package as “Delivered,” the delivery is deemed legally completed, and the risk of loss transfers to the recipient.
After a “Delivered” scan, BabySquare is not liable for any claims of loss, theft, or damage, as such incidents occur outside the course of delivery and are not the responsibility of the merchant or the carrier.
A carrier’s “Delivered” status constitutes completion of the delivery obligation and final transfer of responsibility to the recipient.
7. Carrier Insurance & Coverage
Most carriers provide up to $100 standard coverage for loss or damage before delivery.
Customers wishing to have additional coverage (for high-value orders) may purchase optional shipping insurance by contact info@babysquare.ca
Neither the carrier nor BabySquare provides compensation for packages that go missing after a “Delivered” scan has been recorded.
8. Theft After Delivery (“Porch Piracy”)
BabySquare cannot issue refunds or send replacement products for packages that are stolen after delivery.
If you believe your package has been stolen, we recommend the following steps:

Verify the delivery location with neighbours or building staff.

Check with the carrier for GPS delivery confirmation.

File a police report for stolen goods.

Submit the police report to your homeowner’s or renter’s insurance provider to file a claim.
Insurance companies commonly cover porch piracy incidents under personal property protection.
9. Additional Security Recommendations
To minimize delivery risks, customers may:
- select a secure delivery location,
- request a signature-required delivery,
- provide access-controlled address instructions (concierge, mailroom, parcel locker), or
- purchase optional shipping insurance.
10. Surcharges
All orders are shipping together from our central warehouse. If there are any differentials with shipping amounts (or oversized items that require additional shipping charges) a customer service representative will contact you via phone or email within 24 hours after the order is placed.
Regrettably, we are unable to offer free shipping to the specified areas. However, we will get in touch with you after you've placed your order online to discuss the shipping surcharge. We apologize for any inconvenience or delay this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
