Floor Impact Sound Insulation Test
This laboratory test evaluated the floor impact sound insulation performance of a GGUMBI Play Mat (42 mm) installed over a 210 mm concrete slab. Both heavy-weight and light-weight impact sound measurements were conducted in accordance with the applicable Korean KS acoustic testing standards.
Test Standards
KS F 2810-1:2001 · KS F 2810-2:2012 · KS F 2863-1:2002 · KS F 2863-2:2007
Laboratory Results
| Test Category | Bare Concrete Slab | With 42 mm Play Mat |
|---|---|---|
| Heavy-weight Impact Sound | 65 dB | 28 dB |
| Light-weight Impact Sound | 50 dB | 46 dB |
